Nomex Tube: Types 410 & 411

03/24/2011
You're searching for a paper tube manufacturer with the capabilities and a history of success, Product Precision Group (PPG) has both. Included in an extensive line of paper tubing is time-tested Nomex tube. Nomex tube is used in industry applications that demand high dielectric strength combined with temperature resistance.

PPG works with two to the most popular types of Nomex for electrical insulation applications:
  • Nomex 410 – This calendered product has high inherent dielectric strength, flexibility, and mechanical toughness. Manufacturing thicknesses range from 0.05 to 0.75 mm (2 to 30 mil).
  • Nomex 411 – When conformability, impregnability and saturability are of the utmost importance, this uncalendered precursor is available in thicknesses from 0.13 to 0.58 mm (5 to 23 mil).
Fabrication tolerances are typically between 0.006" to 0.375" inches. Any length up to 20 feet is also possible in most cases. To help prevent collapse while winding transformers, we implement bow type tubing.

We have the capabilities to fabricate Nomex tube for whatever your application calls for. Let our expertise in paper tubing make you a long-time customer. We have dedicated leadership that drives innovation and provides cost-effective solutions with impressive results.
